Finally, someone at CRC partially gets it

Unfortunately there are bullies in this world who prey on others for no other reason than they can.

Bullying is one thing; deliberately depriving others of sleep placing them at increased risk for a stroke is another--Poor sleep linked to higher stroke risk in elderly. "Obnoxious" doesn't begin to describe such behavior; "deranged, diabolical, evil, vile" is more like it. 

Thanks to Joshua Aronson, Director of Administration & Business Development at Community Realty Company, Inc., Greenbelt, MD, property manager for the Marque apartments at Heritage Hunt in Gainesville VA, for his understanding the situation and releasing us from our lease. 

CRC Greenbelt may have helped us with our specific problem by releasing us from our lease; but, CRC has failed to address resident concerns in general at the Marque:

• noise during "quiet hours"
• neighbor(s) from hell
• person(s) who deliberately leaves barbells and other loose items in the middle of the Fitness Room floor for elderly residents with sight and/or mobility problems to trip over
•  irresponsible pet owners (noise, waste disposal)
• other "living environment" problems, e.g. hot, stinky public hallways, overflowing dumpsters and dumpster enclosures, etc.
• lack of a written process for logging and tracking "living environment" problems (similar to individual apartment maintenance items)
• other resident concerns
