a word of warning

For those who are considering moving to the Marque, be advised that floors at the Marque are wood construction, not concrete. Sound travels through the floors--similar to that of a typical multilevel house. You can easily hear someone walking normally in the apartment above. If they're heavy-footed, then they sound like Bigfoot. 

Remember those times in your living room when it sounded more like Bigfoot was in the kid's bedroom above instead of small children? That's what it's like. Add to that dropping items on hard floors, moving furniture, opening and closing the balcony door, etc. during the middle of the night and it can make sleeping difficult. When it's a nightly occurrence, as opposed to every once in a while, then it can be a real problem.
